Snus vs Nicotine Pouches

Snus refers to a group of oral smokeless products that contain tobacco and nicotine used orally. It is important to note that snus is banned in the Republic of Serbia as well as in many European countries.

What is ZYN?

ZYN is a nicotine pouch that is an oral smokeless product and a different option compared to traditional snus. Unlike snus, nicotine pouches do not contain tobacco. Although these two products are similar, manufacturers typically use cellulose, flavors (such as fruit or menthol), and nicotine in the production of nicotine pouches. Nicotine is usually extracted directly from the tobacco plant.

Adult users consume nicotine by placing nicotine pouches in their mouth, positioning the nicotine pouch between the upper lip and gums, with the nicotine experience lasting about 30 minutes. After use, the pouch should be disposed of.

It is important to note that nicotine pouches are not risk-free and contain nicotine, which is addictive. The best decision any adult smoker or nicotine user can make is to completely quit using tobacco and nicotine. Smokeless products are not an alternative to quitting smoking and are not designed as cessation aids.
